写在前面的话

最近腰椎不太好,医生说是受寒了。想想应该是除夕在火车上受凉了。说起来雅加达出差回来已经腊月二十八了,爱人和孩子先回了老家。剩下自己一个人没有那么着急,就定了张除夕软卧想体验一下在火车上过年的感觉。原本以为会比较清静,别有一份趣味。可惜现实只有苟且,哪有什么诗和远方。遇见的只是喝多了在不停埋怨儿女的老人、生意失败而在年关自斟自饮的中年人。。。看着火车窗外的烟花,竟然一点浪漫的感觉都没有,反倒是无奈和寂寥的气息充满了整个列车。年少时的天真烂漫,以及那些周游世界的向往都渐渐远去。。。走走停停的多了,似乎对于远方的期许也变得可有可无,一切也只是画圈圈而已。


上一篇《主题公园项目需要注意的主要岩土工程问题》中简单提到过中外岩土勘察的差异。外方提供的勘察成果往往是最基础的岩土测试数据,如不经过专业的岩土工程师进行分析计算,结构工程师无法使用。通常在欧美或承袭欧美设计习惯的地区,一般需要额外再聘请岩土设计咨询的事务所来给出具体的岩土工程建议。以下主要考虑的咨询服务要点,供参考。

  1. Site investigation program: borelog details, cross section profile of the soils.
  2. Foundation option recommendation
  3. Foundation capacity both deep foundation and shallow foundation
  4. Recommendation founding depth
  5. Settlement estimates Soil parameter : modulus of sub-grade, spring constant, wet & dry density, undrained and drained shear parameters, Young’s Modulus, Poison ratio, over-consolidation ratio (OCR) and compressibility parameters for each layer/stratum for design purpose based on soil investigation results, etc
  6. Recommendation pile efficiency
  7. Recommendation for the feasibility of ground bearing slab on existing ground, basement or on compacted fill for floor, including values of soil stiffness and California bearing ratio (CBR).
  8. Recommendation of sub-grade treatment/preparation for pavement design for internal roads and open parking lot area, including CBR values.
  9. Recommendation on design parameters (Ka, Kp and pressure diagram) for retaining wall / diaphragm wall and basement wall design.
  10. Recommendation for excavation work
    Comments on the requirements for dewatering for any underground works and its implications (slope stability, adjacent properties, etc). Specify the recommended dewatering system and criteria based on pumping test results.
  11. Comments on acceptability of sulphate and chloride contents in the ground and recommendation, if any.
  12. If the investigation is being done during dry season. What is the recommended highest water table to be used in structural design.
  13. Comments on permeability including the recommended permeability coefficient value for each layer of ground soil, e.g. for soak pits design, ground water drawdown, ground water re-charging, etc.
  14. Comments on the suitability of the existing soil for backfilling. Comments on optimum moisture content to achieve compaction of soil to the required max. dry density and CBR design.
  15. Comments on liquefaction susceptibility of the ground/soil stratum of the site, if any.
  16. Comments on hazards evaluation, including evaluation, recommendation of Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA). (Optional)
  17. Advice on the soil classification and the Site Specific Response Spectra (SSRS).
  18. Comments on the slope stability analysis of the ground for building constructed on slope for open cut excavation.
